MikroTik Automation & Managed Networking

MikroTik networks, run as software instead of by hand.

RouterOS is powerful, and that power usually lives in one engineer’s head and a WinBox window. We turn routine MikroTik work into secure, centralised software workflows: customer provisioning, bandwidth plans, backups and health checks, driven through the RouterOS API with every change logged.

What we deliver

Capabilities

  • RouterOS configuration & management

Clean, documented configurations for routing, bridging, VLANs, firewall and services.

  • RouterOS API automation

Routine changes made through the API from a portal, instead of by hand in WinBox.

  • PPPoE server & customer management

PPPoE secrets, profiles and IP pools managed from one screen, with fixed-IP allocation.

  • Bandwidth plans & QoS

Queues and profiles tied to customer plans, changed automatically when a plan changes.

  • Multi-WAN & policy routing

Failover and load balancing across uplinks, with routing rules per service or customer.

  • WireGuard & remote administration

Secure tunnels to every site, so routers are managed without exposing them to the internet.

  • Automated backups

Scheduled configuration exports and backups, kept off-device with retention.

  • Health dashboards & alerts

CPU, uptime, interface traffic and session counts per router, with alerts on thresholds.

  • Network operations portals

Role-based portals where staff can do their job without full router access.

A new subscriber, provisioned in one step
  1. 1 Create Staff add the customer and plan in the portal.
  2. 2 Credentials PPPoE username and password generated.
  3. 3 Allocate A fixed IP is assigned from the pool.
  4. 4 Push The secret and profile are written via the API.
  5. 5 Log Who did what, and when, is recorded.

In practice

What changes, day to day

After a power cut

Today

Dozens of PPPoE sessions are stuck; the fix is restarting the server for everyone.

With automation

Stuck sessions are found and recovered one by one, without disconnecting anyone else.

An ONT swap

Today

The new device will not connect until someone resets the binding on the router.

With automation

The technician resets the MAC binding from the portal and the customer is back online.

Built, not imagined

Proven in live operations

  • A RouterOS API portal for PPPoE customers: create, plan change, disable, delete
  • Automatic fixed-IP allocation from customer pools
  • MAC-binding reset for device swaps and per-session stuck-session recovery
  • Live WAN graphs, online and offline status, expiries within seven days
  • Protected accounts that can never be disabled or deleted by mistake
  • Remote routers managed over WireGuard, with scheduled backups

FAQ

Questions we often hear

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly

Is it safe to automate a production router?

Yes, when done carefully: least-privilege API users, separate read and write credentials, validation before every change, protected accounts and a full audit log.

Which RouterOS versions do you support?

Current RouterOS 7 deployments, including the REST and classic APIs. Older versions are reviewed case by case.
